Registration

I want to be in a PYS Carnival costume, how do I do this?

You will need to register for one of our bespoke costumes of your choice, fill in your sizes, pay your deposit or full amount and you are ready to go. 

Is there priority registration online for past masqueraders?

We have introduced online registration to facilitate both our past and present masqueraders. Keep up to date with our social media pages to know when registration begins.

What do I need for costume registration?

ALL masqueraders must provide the following information for registration:

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Email Address (1 per masquerader)
  • Mobile Number (including area code)
  • Dietary requirements (e.g. Vegan, Vegetarian etc)
  • Please specify UK Bra Size and Cup – this must be accurate

If you are providing your own bra, it MUST be padded.
Please as soon as possible by email. 
We will advise you of the best way to get the bra to us. If it is not padded, the bra will be returned.

  • Bust, Waist and Hip measurements in Inches
  • Underwear Style: Bikini, thong, shorts, etc (n.b not all costumes have varying underwear styles, see individual costume pages for further details)

Is there a minimum age to be in the section?

Yes, 18 years.

What is the largest size available in a Cage Bra?

34G

What is the smallest size available in a Cage Bra?

28A

What happens if I input inaccurate information into the registration system?

As soon as your order comes through and the deposit is made, we put your desired product into production.

We require you to be accurate as WE CANNOT GUARANTEE that any changes will be accommodated, however after receiving your deposit, 24 hours will be allowed for you to notify us by email of any changes. Please put “COSTUME CHANGES – followed by your name” in the subject matter and inform us of the changes. After this, ANY SIZES/COSTUME LINE/ANY CHANGES WILL INCUR AN ADMIN FEE OF £20.00.

Can I order extra items with my costumes?

Yes, simply select the additional accessories you would like in the drop down menu within your chosen costume.

All extras and upgrades require full payment upon registration.

Recommended products will be indicated as an option where applicable in the design when you register.

I would like to add a different collar/backpack to my backline costume – I really want it, can PYS Carnival make one for me?

We can do this however it will incur AN ADMIN FEE OF £20.00 PLUS THE COST any extra items.

Collars/backpacks MUST be paid for in full in order to begin production. Please email us with your collar/backpack request.

What happens if I am unsatisfied with my costume or if it is damaged?

On the day of distribution a customer service rep will be available to assist you with all your carnival needs.

If you are unsatisfied with your costume, please inform us immediately at distribution. Alternatively you can also email us pyscarnival@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving it.

What payment methods will be accepted for registration?

Credit or Debit Cards.

I have friends and family that would want to register, is this possible?

Yes, simply advise them to register through our website.

When is the deadline for REGISTRATION? 

There is not a deadline, when we are sold out, our costume packages will be closed.

Where can I find future updates about the band after registration?

PYS Carnival will contact you directly via email; however you can also catch us by visiting our website, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

After sales

Where can I purchase carnival shoes, make-up and other things I need for carnival?

PYS Carnival will post all your carnival essentials on our website, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Keep your eyes peeled.

I cannot pay for my costume on time. What happens?

If you are unable to pay your balance on time please inform us by email.
Unpaid Costume balances will have a £20.00 admin fee added for late payment. 
Any unpaid costumes after this date will be forfeited.

 

Distribution

What do I need to bring for Distribution?

Come excited with your receipt and ID.

When and where will the costume distribution be?

You will be notified of the venue and collection dates via email, our website, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

Can my feathered backpacks be delivered?

Presently no. 

What is the deadline date for final payments?

I cannot pay for my costume on time. What happens?

If you are unable to pay your balance on time please inform us by email.
Any costumes paid for after 1st July 2018 will have a £20 admin fee added for late payment.
Any unpaid costumes will be sold.

Do I need ID to collect my costume?

Yes, please bring your receipt and a proof of ID showing the name which was used on registration.

I’m unable to collect my costume. Can somebody collect on my behalf?

Yes. The original costume owner must have paid in full for their costume.

  • Your representative must bring their ID, a copy of your ID, your receipt and a signed letter from you the masquerader authorising collection on your behalf.
  • Alternatively the masquerader can send an authorisation email to pyscarnival@gmail.com in advance from the email address used at registration.

I missed my section distribution date, what can I do?

You can collect your costume at a later date but will have to arrange a suitable time with the designer.

I did not get a costume, can I be placed on a waiting list?

All of our costumes are available on a first come first served basis and upon a deposit paid.

Unfortunately there are no waiting lists.

On the Road

Can I wear my own costume?

Unfortunately no. Only Costumes that are PYS Carnival will be allowed in the section.

You must be wearing the authorised wristband so that you are not ejected from the band.

Can I get a refund if I no longer wish to partake?

Unfortunately no. All costumes are NON REFUNDABLE.

Will PYS Carnival cross the Westbourne Park stage?

This will be determined by the carnival event organisers.

What is my section line up?

The section line up will be released closer to Carnival, please check via email, our website, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for updates.

Food/drinks

I am Vegan, Will there be options for me?

Yes, In your registration form please select your food option.

What should I carry with me on the road?

We recommend that you carry your ESSENTIALS.

  • Mobile Phone
  • Cash
  • Keys
  • Yourself
  • Your Country flag

Please do not come with a massive bag as there will not be anywhere to leave it.
